Design guided math notes that support every learner without doubling your prep time
Math Notes 101 is a step by step system that shows you how to design clear, accessible math notes in PowerPoint so your lessons flow, students stay engaged, and reteaching does not take over your week.
Built for 4th through 12th grade math teachers who want structure without rigidity.
You didn't become a teacher to read from a scripted curriculum.
You became a teacher to make math click and help students feel capable, confident, and supported.
But between pacing guides, mandates, and grading at midnight, it is easy to lose the creative freedom that made you love teaching.
When one lesson has to work for everyone.
You're expected to reach 30 different learners with one rigid lesson.
Students who missed foundational skills, students who need structure, and students who are ready to move faster, all at the same time.
And when it does not work, it feels like your fault.
It's not.
It's the system.
Imagine walking into class knowing your notes are already doing part of the teaching for you.
Instead of blank stares, students are writing, asking questions, and following along. Not because you slowed everything down, but because the structure is doing some of the heavy lifting.
Your lessons flow.
Your students stay engaged.
You spend less time reteaching and more time actually teaching.
What is Math Notes 101?
Math Notes 101 is a hands on course that teaches you how to design scaffolded, accessible math notes that support all learners without watering down rigor or starting from scratch.
This is not about adding more to your plate.
It is about building a repeatable system you can use for every unit, all year long.
With Math Notes 101, you'll learn how to:
Most lessons can be designed in 20 minutes or less.
You may have tried creating guided notes before, but:
- Everything online feels either too busy or painfully boring
- PowerPoint feels overwhelming and time consuming
- You do not have time to start from scratch
- Your students need scaffolds now, not next month
- The curriculum you are told to just use does not actually help students learn
You are not failing.
You are teaching in a system that prioritizes pacing over understanding.
This is not an extra strategy or another teacher hack.
This is Tier 1 instruction done right.
Math Notes 101 gives you the tools to teach with clarity, structure, and confidence while honoring how students actually learn.

Hi, I’m Stephanie
I'm a former NYC math teacher turned curriculum designer.
For 11 years, I taught Algebra, co-taught special education, and sat in IEP meetings wondering why scripted curriculum never worked for my students.
I created Math Notes 101 out of necessity. I wanted my students to understand math, not just get through it. I spent years rewriting notes at the board, reteaching the same examples, and wondering why kids still felt lost.
This course is my blueprint for helping teachers take back instructional autonomy and give students clarity and confidence.
