🧘🏽♀️ An Actual Plan, Not Chaos and Panic
With monthly drops, spiraled skills, and classroom systems that run themselves—you’ll finally feel ahead, not just surviving.

🌟You’re a Middle School Math or Algebra 1 Teacher.....
Imagine having a go-to hub for those “I need something for tomorrow!” moments and the “Why is no one talking about how hard this is?” spirals.
While also thinking… “There’s GOT to be a better way to teach this.”
👋 You just found it, friend. Let’s make math make sense (for you and your students).
🤔 Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
- 🫠 Fighting with your boxed curriculum because it doesn’t account for students who are 3–5 grade levels behind (or speak English as a second language).
- 🫠 Wasting planning time trying to “make it work” — filling in the gaps, adding scaffolds, and figuring out how to reteach what your curriculum skipped.
- 🫠 Trying to make math fun and relevant for your Gen Alpha students… but everything you find is either too babyish or too boring.
- 🫠 Downloading activities that look cute but leave your students more confused than confident — no context, no clarity, no real learning.
- 🫠 Feeling like you have to choose between engagement and rigor — when you know your students deserve both.
- 🫠 Dreading Mondays because the pacing guide is flying, your kids are behind, and you're the only one trying to bridge that gap.

You’re not behind.
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just trying to teach real kids — with real gaps — and no one gave you the right tools.
You’re a teacher with high expectations and a big heart…
but you're stuck reteaching the same skills on repeat, scrambling to differentiate, and wondering how to make math meaningful for students who already think they’re “bad at it.”
You’re ready for more access, more confidence, and more support —
not more theory, more fluff, or another boxed curriculum that forgets your students are human.

& I abolustely get it! 1,000% That was my life—standing at the copier before first period, piecing together lessons from five different tabs, praying it would land.
- I wanted the “how do I reach all these students?” part to feel less like a guessing game.
- I was so over the boxed curriculum that didn’t support my students with IEPs, my ELLs or students who were 3+ grade levels behind.
So I built the thing I wish I had.
A one-stop, no-judgment zone where you get scaffolded, editable math resources and bite-sized PD that actually helps—without the theory overload.
The Algebra Teacher Squad is your shortcut to peace, prep, and students who finally say, “I get it.”

"Exactly what my struggling learners needed.”
Michelle P Says...
"I like that the notes are aesthetically pleasing and well organized. They have plenty of room and are not cluttered. I was looking for something for my struggling learners and this is it! In addition to the notes, there is additional practice which I can use for homework or for additional reteaching as necessary."

Page R.
"I teach within a resource room setting and my students need alot of repeated practice to master a skill. This assignment was very scaffolded which I thought was very helpful. The students first practiced each skill in isolation and worked up to a multi step equation. The students also were able to receive instant feedback by telling them if the answer was correct or incorrect."

Meet the Teacher Behind the Squad 💛
Hey hey! I’m Stephanie — a proud Dominicana, special needs mom, former NYC teacher, and forever fan of tacos, sci-fi shows, and turning chaos into confidence (in life and in the classroom).
I was born and raised in Washington Heights, NYC, and now I’m living the Florida Life! English isn’t my first language, so I deeply understand what it feels like to be an English Language Learner trying to make sense of it all — and that lens has shaped how I teach, how I scaffold, and how I support.
Before building Algebra Made Simple, I spent over a decade teaching math in every special education setting you can imagine — co-teaching, self-contained, SETSS, you name it. I hold a BA in Government and a Master’s in Adolescent Special Education, and I’m also certified to teach special education in both New York and Florida.
My passion? Helping students build confidence in math — not just because they “get it,” but because they start to believe that they’re problem solvers. Because they are. Every single one of them.
As a teacher, I lived that Sunday Scaries life — piecing together lessons at 6am, trying to make boxed curriculum work for students who were multiple grade levels behind, and wondering if I’d ever find a system that worked. I knew there had to be a better way… so I created it.
Now, I help middle school math and Algebra 1 teachers feel more prepared, more supported, and way more confident with scaffolded, editable resources that actually work — and bite-sized PD that’s practical, real, and never just theory in a slideshow.

A few fun facts about me:
🌮 I will always say yes to tacos
📺 I can binge Battlestar Galactica or Silo like it’s my job (Sci-Fi is my Jam!)
🇨🇳 I lived in China for a year during undergrad — and yes, I still remember a little Mandarin!
💃🏽 I love to cook, dance, and blast music while doing both
I pour my whole heart into everything I create because I’ve been the teacher with too much to do and not enough time to do it. You deserve resources and PD that actually lighten your load — and students who feel seen, supported, and successful.
Let’s build a classroom where math makes sense, routines run smoothly, and you actually have time to breathe. 🫶

You deserve more than survival mode—your students do too.
You care deeply about your students. You’re already doing everything you can to make math make sense for them—even if that means staying late, googling activities at 10pm, or reworking lessons on the fly. But here’s the truth:
You shouldn’t have to hustle this hard to be an effective teacher.
Imagine what the rest of this school year (and your life) could look like with the right tools at your fingertips, the planning already done, and PD that actually moves the needle.
Now imagine nothing changes.
You keep spinning your wheels. You keep stitching together lessons from random PDFs. You keep second-guessing if what you’re doing is “enough.”
Or—you can choose the support you deserve.
Join Algebra Teacher Squad and get back to doing what you do best: teaching math in a way that connects, supports, and transforms.
Because your time matters. Your students matter. And you?
You absolutely don’t have to do this alone anymore.
